You will find the instructors friendly and approachable - don't be shy to ask questions and seek advice. All instructors remember their early training and how it is to be a thirsty student.

Mostly they remember how it is to realise one's improvements and to progress a journey of quiet achievement. They will enjoy your desire to improve and take pleasure in assisting you.

On our arrival in Hanoi I was very pleasantly surprised to learn that we could join the locals in practicing Tai Chi around the Beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake.

What a wonderful sight greeted us when we arrived to see thousands of people of all ages practising Tai Chi, exercising, playing badminton etc. We joined a group of ladies practising Shibashi-type exercises for about 40 minutes – a wonderful start to the day!

To continue this regime in Hoi An, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City we formed our own little group and practised Tai Chi by the pool, or the beautiful tropical gardens where we were staying. For some of the ladies it was their first experience and a wonderful introduction to Tai Chi.
