The Mulgrave Centre of Celestial Tai Chi College was opened in February 2007, offering Tai Chi classes on Thursdays from 7:00 pm. The centre is run by Instructor Yan Ding, who has been practicing the tradition Yang Style Tai Chi Quan since 1979. Yan is assisted by the Trainee Instructor Stephen Petzold, who has been with the college since 1999. 
The Centre offers the Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi classes for Levels 1 – 6, which are suitable for people of all age groups. Other forms taught are the Lotus , Lohan and Wu Dang Tai Chi sword routines.

The learning atmosphere of the Tai Chi class at the Mulgrave Centre is filled with relaxation and enjoyment. The Instructors work together to provide students with detailed instructions of each Tai Chi movement and constantly encourage students with each step of improvement in their journey of learning Tai Chi. At end of each Tai Chi class, students always fill rejuvenated and refreshed, going home with improved knowledge of Tai Chi.

The Mulgrave Centre of the College is in the front hall of Southern Community Centre of Monash Council. The Centre’s building is surrounded by the ever green Southern Reserve at the south end of Rupert Drive, Mulgrave.  Melway Ref. 80F5
