Margaret (Margie) Brett is a Senior Instructor at the Moonee Ponds Centre and also trains regularly with Senior Master Chin Min. Margie commenced Tai Chi with the Celestial Tai Chi College in 1996, initially learning from Executive Senior Instructor Bob Maver and later training with Grand Master Eng Chor and Senior Master Chin Min. In addition to running the Moonee Ponds class, Margie has run Tai Chi workshops and classes within the local Community, Health, Government, not-for profit and Corporate sectors. She has also taught Tai Chi to primary and secondary schools students and teachers and has co-ordinated the College involvement in various events including Tai Chi demonstrations at the annual Moonee Valley Festival and also performing in the 2009 Moomba Parade. Margie is available to hold Tai Chi sessions, workshops and classes for your organisation. Margie enjoys travelling and has practised Tai Chi in such diverse locations as the Lake Eyre salt plains to Safari Game Parks in Sth Africa. She has travelled to China with Grand Master Eng Chor on 2 occasions and during these trips has enjoyed the opportunity to train and be coached by experienced Chinese Grand Masters. The highlights, however, are always experiencing the early morning Tai Chi sessions in the parks with the locals. |

Moonee Ponds Centre |

The Moonee Ponds Centre is well established, with classes held on Thursday evenings (6.30pm) and Wednesday mornings (9.30am) at the Maribyrnong Park Bowls Club, Holmes Road, Moonee Ponds. All levels are catered for, with Beginner classes starting every 7 weeks. There are dedicated Instructors for every Tai Chi level being taught at the Centre. The Instructors and teaching assistants at the Centre are very experienced and their enjoyment and passion of Tai Chi is reflected in their teaching. Senior Instructor Margaret (Margie) Brett runs the centre with a very experienced teaching team comprised of Instructors Liz Moloney & Wayne Bradborn and Assistant Instructors Doreen Giannini & Dave Brogden and Trainee Instructors Genevieve Gleeson & Michelle Dudman. The proficiency and professionalism of the training staff is enhanced by regular participation in training sessions run by the College Masters. Each of the instructing staff is inspirational with their enthusiasm, knowledge, participation and advocacy for the benefits of Tai Chi to health and well-being. The students and Instructing staff are central to making the Moonee Ponds centre such a welcoming place for both current and new students. There is a diverse mix of ages and backgrounds but common to all are the benefits that practicing this gentle exercise brings to their lives. During mid January, revision and free classes are held on Thursday evenings outside of the normal teaching schedule, on the banks of the Maribyrnong River at Riverside Park, where both current students and prospective students are welcome. A wide range of forms are taught at the Centre including: Tai Chi Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi, Beijing 24, Tai Chi 42, Weapons Yang 32 Sword, Fan, Flute, Broadsword, Tai Chi 42 Sword Qi Qong Wild Goose, Shibashi, Warrior Lohan Qi Qong Location There is plenty of off-street parking in the Bowls club car park, accessed from The Boulevard. Enter the Bowls Club from the gate at the car park and head up the ramp. The venue is an ideal location for Tai Chi, overlooking the magnificent Maribyrnong River. Werribee Centre |

The Werribee Celestial Tai Chi Centre has been teaching the gentle art of Tai Chi for the past eight years. Our classes are held on Thursday evenings at 7 pm at the Kelly Park Centre, alongside the Werribee RSL on Synott St. The centre is spacious, warm in winter and comfortable in the summer months, making it an ideal all year round venue for learning Tai Chi. Our Instructor John Sindoni co-ordinates our classes with support from his committed team of Trainee Instructors; Marie, James, Frances, Rita, Graham and Edwina. The team are very committed to the principles and philosophy of Tai Chi, which promotes relaxation, well-being, fitness and helps create a sense of community. Together the group represents almost fifty years of Tai Chi practice and all are very passionate about sharing and passing on their knowledge to all interested in learning. Our centre offers Yang style Tai Chi, including 6 Beginners Classes per year, Intermediate and Advanced levels, Flute, Qi Gong routines, Bejing 24 and revision classes.
The Werribee Centre is also involved in local community events such as Weerama, Active in April and end of term outdoor sessions at the local Piazza in Watton Street.
We believe that the body responds to what you do with it and that participating in Yang style Tai Chi is a wonderful way to promote well being and good health. |

 Senior Instructor Tony Donnoli Mario and Tony are Senior Instructors at Doncaster, Doncaster East, Camberwell, Balwyn North, Keysborough and West Brunswick in addition to Tuesday morning sessions at Centro Box Hill (8:00am – 9:00am). Mario also runs weekly classes at the Royal Children’s Hospital for staff and volunteers, whilst Tony is working with the School of Chinese Medicine at RMIT Bundoora, as a sessional lecturer, conducting classes for 3rd year students and recently has begun classes at St Patrick’s Cathedral in East Melbourne. Tony began Tai Chi in 1983 and since 1990 has been a member of the Celestial Tai Chi College. He and Mario began the Doncaster Centre in 1994. After a career spanning 40 years as a teacher he now devotes most of his time practising and teaching Tai Chi. |

Bundoora Centre |

The Celestial College Bundoora Centre is located at St Peter’s Anglican Church, on the corner of Alma Road and Grimshaw St, Bundoora (Melways Map 19 J1). Classes are run every Thursday evening commencing at 7.30pm.
The Bundoora Centre covers Traditional Yang style Tai Chi Levels 1 to 6, and various advanced forms, including weapons, such as Fan, Flute, Classic Sword and Broadsword. The Centre operates in a relaxed social atmosphere and regular social occasions are organised which augment the college park lessons, retreats, philosophy nights and Asian tours.

Box Hill Centre |

The Box Hill Centre was established in 1990 at St Peter's Anglican Church Hall, Box Hill and is one of the founding Centres of the Celestial Tai Chi College of Australia, and since then it has grown into a strong, reputable and popular Centre.
The students have always been at the heart of the Centre, and are of all ages and culturally diverse backgrounds, from all walks-of-life, keen to learn the skill of Tai Chi and enhance their health, or engage in deeper understanding and practice of soft marshal arts. Many of those who joined years ago are still loyal and keen practitioners, enjoying the benefits of gentle exercise and its insightful philosophies. They often share with us their unique experiences and stories of how Tai Chi practice and thought have touched and transformed their life. |

Hawthorn Centre |

Grand Master Eng Chor Khor has been conducting classes in the Camberwell/Hawthorn area since 1990. The classes are now held in the indoor basketball courts at the Hawthorn Secondary College, corner Burgess Street and Tooronga Roads, Hawthorn. It is a vibrant class with up to 50 students who meet at 7.00pm on Wednesday evenings.
Grand Master Eng Chor Khor is assisted by Senior Instructor Margaret Rogers, Assistant Instructors Dianne Cummings, Anna Yeow, Edward Yong, Lena Yong, and Michael Demkiw each of whom have at least 10 years experience in Tai Chi and its teaching. They have also accompanied the Grand Master in his cultural tours to China and attended classes given by visiting Chinese Tai Chi Masters. |
